Kiawah Beachwalker Park

Kiawah Beachwalker Park is a public beach on the Atlantic Ocean that offers stunning views. There are picnic areas, dressing rooms, showers, a snack bar, bathrooms, and places to rent umbrellas and beach chairs. Kiawah Island is a nesting beach for sea turtles, so if you’re lucky you may catch sight of one!

Marsh Island Park

Marsh Island Park is a trail that provides pretty views of the saltwater marshes and the Kiawah River. Climb the viewing tower for fantastic views of this ecological sanctuary. Peel your eyes for fiddler crabs and a variety of birds.

At the Night Heron Park and Nature, you can get a guided tour of Kiawah Island, or explore it yourself. View alligators, birds, and butterflies outside and interactive nature exhibits inside. Participate in one of their many nature tours and programs for a truly unique experience. Kids will be enthralled by this educational yet exciting experience.

Rental Activities

There are several places to rent kayaks, paddleboards, bikes, and more on the island. Each activity provides a one-of-a-kind way to take in the island’s beauty and come across its abundant wildlife, so don’t be afraid to try them all.

Okay, so golf may not fall into the conventional list of nature activities. However, on Kiawah Island, it is an extremely popular attraction. The island’s five championship courses will impress nature lovers and sports enthusiasts alike with breathtaking ocean views and professional-grade quality. We recommend checking out Ocean Course or Turtle Point.
