Check out these fun-filled events and you’ll be having an unforgettable time on Cape Cod for the entire month of December!

Annual Lighting of the Monument

Come to this free ceremony in Provincetown to watch the lighting of the monument lights on November 26 starting at 5 p.m. Enjoy the musical performance by John Thomas and stuff yourselves with the free cider and cookies! The monument will stay lit from November 26th to January 6th to commemorate the time the Pilgrims stayed in Provincetown before heading to Plymouth. Bring the kids to Hyannis and hop aboard the train to Christmas town! You’ll be greeted by the characters of the book “Train to Christmas Town”: Janice, Bumblebee the Polar Bear, Wabash the Squirrel, Zephyr the Depot Cat, and all the elves who will be serving cookies and cocoa and singing Christmas carols. The train ride is based on the said book, and you will also get a free copy when you buy your tickets! What a unique combination of fun and reading!
